Hello everyone and welcome to ElkGuyd’s Big Game Hunting Service. This web site is dedicated to anyone that has ever wanted to experience a great elk hunt with plenty of close encounters, great camaraderie, and the possibility of harvesting a trophy bull elk.
Unit 34 is located in the Lincoln National Forest in the south central part of New Mexico. The Sacramento Mountains are part of the Great Rocky Mountains and the population of elk has increased dramatically over the last few years due to management by the NM game and fish department. New Mexico is not a preference point state so your odds of drawing are determined through the Lottery. Everyone is on equal terms for the draw. I will have more information about that in my “in the news” page.
This is my eight year as a professional Hunting Service provider and it is a dream that I have had for many years. I had been working under a different outfitting business for four years prior and always had great success in getting return customers. I also started working as an agent for a private landowner and getting to know hunters from other states. In dealing with other hunters and people in general, I have always put their interest at the top of my priority list. This approach has always delivered good positive results and I look forward to providing that same dedication for your hunt. It is the hunting experience that keeps hunters coming back, more so than the harvest itself.
